One of our favourite recipes and it’s just so simple and easy to make.
This Keto bread is great, not just for toast, but, also for sandwiches and burger buns. Make it in less than 10 minutes too!
Ingredients: 1 free range egg, 1/3 cup almond flour, 1 tsp spoon organic baking powder, 1 Tbsp grass fed butter, pinch of sea salt.
Place butter in microwave safe mug (we use a ramen dish) for about 15 seconds or so. Make sure it’s melted.
Combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt in a bowl and egg in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and then add to the mug or bowl with the melted butter and blend.
Microwave for about 90 – 120 seconds (our microwave is better closer to 2 minutes so, you may need to experiment a bit). Let it cool for 2 minutes or so before slicing.
Enjoy as toast with raw almond butter or use it as a bun for your burgers and sandwiches!
